The broadcast mini-player can be found on radio and TV items within the Isentia platform. Using the mini player, you can instantly launch and start viewing your radio and TV media items and continue streaming your broadcast coverage while working within the Isentia platform.

Note: This feature is currently only available to Isentia platform users in Australia and New Zealand.

Launching the mini-player

There are two options to launch the mini-player:

Using quick actions

Select the play in mini player quick action on the item card of a radio or TV media item.

 

Embedded media player

Select a radio or TV item to open the full item view, and select the Open in mini player option in the embedded media player.

Using the mini-player

Once the mini-player has been launched, you can stream your broadcast coverage until the end of your chosen clip. Whilst the clip is streaming you can continue navigating throughout the Isentia platform.

While a radio or TV clip is streaming in the mini-player, you can pause and restart it or jump to a specific moment by selecting a point on the progress bar.

Note: The mini-player is not currently playable on the Dashboard or manual report builder pages in the Isentia platform.

Closing the mini-player

There are two ways to close the mini-player:

1. Select the ‘x’ option to close the mini-player and stop the clip that is currently being played.
2. Select the back to media item option to instantly return to the full item view of the broadcast item being played.
