What’s new

Syndication options for topic notifications 

A new option has been added to give you more control over the notifications you receive. Now in your topic notification settings you decide whether you receive a notification for the first media item in a group of syndicated items, or receive a new notification for each syndicated item.

• Changes to how media item summaries are displayed

  Across all media types, text displayed on media items will now start when your first keyword is identified in the summary, speeding up getting to the part of a story that is relevant to you.

  Keyword matches are now highlighted in blue, making it easier to identify why and item is relevant, and your settings now contain an option to disable keyword highlighting and change the summary display from where your first keyword is identified to the start of a media item.

• Identify when there is a switch in the speaker in radio and TV media clips

  Automated transcripts for radio and TV media items now show a line break when there is a switch in the speaker, reducing the previous “wall of text” and making it even easier to understand your broadcast content.

• Enhancements for a better Isentia app

In the latest Isentia app release, you can enjoy a more visual experience with preview images. You can also apply saved filters to get straight to your media coverage, move topics to create new groups and select and move multiple media items to better organise your media coverage on the go.

• Introducing the media abstract

  Get straight to the important details of your radio or TV clips with the addition of our innovative media abstract. This abstract uses machine learning to automatically summarise and distill each of your automated transcripts into its key elements: the who, what, when, where, and why.

• Item history details

  Whether it was automatically delivered or manually added to your topic, see the history of a media item inside the Isentia platform with the new item history details.

• Unsubscribe from your notifications 

  Whether you’re the owner or a recipient of a topic notification sent from the Isentia platform, it’s now even easier to manage the notifications you receive. The link to unsubscribe or manage your notifications is at the bottom of each notification.

• System notifications 

  Stay informed of the latest updates to your account with system notifications. Know when a new topic has been created and shared across your organisation or has been shared with you directly. More information on system notifications can be found here.

• Even more options for your recurring reports

  Add section links so recipients can instantly jump to a section in your report, or make sure your report truly represents your brand’s style by adding a custom colour scheme. Learn more about these new report options here.

• An updated Recurring report builder

  We’ve made it easier to create new and edit existing recurring reports. The updated recurring report builder provides a single view of all of the settings you need to customise, manage, and tailor your recurring reports to exact requirements.

• Choose how to display syndicate media items recurring reports

  The previous ‘Show syndication’ option in your recurring reports has been replaced with a new ‘Syndication’ setting with the following options: Hide Syndicates, Show syndicates as 1 media item, Show syndicates as individual media items. Learn more about this feature option here.
